MUSIC STUDY CLUB OF THE STROUDSBURGS
Serving the Poconos since 1912 and a member of the Pennsylvania Federation (PFMC) and the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) which is one of the largest philanthropic, non-profit organizations in the world.

Purposes:
  * Promote a knowledge of and appreciation
    for good music among the members;
  * Extend such influence in the homes, schools
    and churches of the community;
  * Encourage American music and musicians;
  * Provide opportunities for young people and
    adults to develop musical skills.

Events: We offer two scholarships each year, sponsor an annual Junior Festival, and offer performance opportunities during our meetings. One scholarship for $700 is offered locally to a graduating senior who will be majoring in music and the other for $150 is given to a student (Grades 7-12) who plans to attend a summer music camp.

Membership: Membership is open to any adult who supports the purposes of this club. The dues are $28 per year which includes membership in PFMC and NFMC.

Meetings: Meetings are open to the public and held on the first Sunday in October, November, February, April, May and culminate with a scholarship program in June.

Location: Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania are located in Monroe County about 30 miles north of Easton.
