Awards and scholarships are given each year by the Federation in the Senior Division to honor members and adult composers for their distinguished achievements.
In the Student Division, awards and scholarships are granted to help young artists continue their training.
Young musicians in the Junior Division may audition for awards in piano, instrumental, dance, voice and composing.
The state Federation also contributes funds to the Chatauqua Music School Scholarships. Many young musicians go on to compete for awards and scholarships given by the National Federation of Music Clubs.
In addition, many individual senior clubs have auditions for their own awards and scholarships, given to students from their local areas.
Festivals around the state each year award Festival cups for achievements by young students and adults who perform, and receive adjudication.
